The country’s top young table tennis talents will take center stage this weekend, as 13 national titles are up for grabs at the Mark Bates Ltd Cadet, U17 & Junior National Championships. The prestigious event will be held at the David Ross Sports Village in Nottingham, with the Cadet and Under-17 competitions scheduled for Saturday, followed by the Junior events on Sunday.

In the Junior singles, reigning champions Connor Green and Tianer Yu will be looking to defend their titles. Green, the top seed, is aiming for a hat-trick of honors in this age group, while Yu, seeded first in the women’s draw, is making her debut in the Junior category after dominating the Under-17 events.
The rising talents will also be vying for glory in the doubles and mixed events. Yu is the top seed in the Junior Girls’ Doubles, paired with Scarlett Anders, and is the top pick alongside Joseph Hunter in the Mixed. Green, the top seed in the Boys’ Doubles alongside Ben Piggott, will be teaming up with twin sister Anna in the Mixed event.
In the Under-17 category, Ralph Pattison and Sienna Jetha are the top seeds in the respective boys’ and girls’ singles events, while Larry Trumpauskas, the 2022 Cadet and Junior singles champion, is seeded second.
