Gearing up for an Exciting Table Tennis Season in the North West
As the table tennis community in the North West prepares for the upcoming 2024-25 season, there’s a growing buzz around the array of new events and tournaments scheduled to take place. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of local clubs and venues, table tennis enthusiasts can look forward to a diverse lineup of competitions and activities in the region.
The highlights include two Women and Girls events, scheduled to take place at the GN Ping Hub in Manchester on August 24th and at the Blackpool Sports Centre on September 28th, 2024. Additionally, two Junior 2 Stars tournaments are planned in Blackpool on September 29th and at the UCLan in Preston in 2025 (date to be confirmed).
Furthermore, the GN Ping Hub will be hosting the highly anticipated Olympic Challenge in August/September 2024, catering to non-league players. And in February 2025 (date to be confirmed), a Junior 1 Star event is slated to take place in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria.
These new additions complement the existing lineup of tournaments, such as the County Closed, County School’s, NCL & NJL, Junior, and Senior events that regularly take place in the region.
