Aspiring Table Tennis Players Invited to Join 2024/25 NCL and NJL Competitions
The 2024/25 seasons of the National Cadet League (NCL) and National Junior League (NJL) are now accepting entries, providing a valuable opportunity for grassroots players to gain competitive experience. These leagues cater to Under-15s (NCL) and Under-19s (NJL), with teams comprising three players of any gender who must be Compete members of Table Tennis England.
“These events attracted more than 350 teams last year, and girls-only divisions are a possibility if enough teams from that demographic enter across a region.”
The competitions will take place at 15 localized venues over four weekends throughout the season, with the core dates for the 2024/25 campaign set as follows:
- NJL: October 19 & November 23, 2024; February 1 & March 15, 2025
- NCL: December 8, 2024; January 19, March 2 & March 20, 2025
However, there may be some regional variations in the dates.
The entry fee is £100 per team, which includes all player registrations, and the process has been streamlined with an online platform through TT Leagues.
Key Deadlines:
- NJL: September 16
- NCL: November 4
