Exciting News for Table Tennis Fans: 2024 US Nationals Coming to Huntsville, Alabama
USA Table Tennis (USATT) has announced the opening of registration for the 2024 US National Table Tennis Championships, which will be held at the Von Braun Center South Hall in Huntsville, Alabama, from July 3 to July 7, 2024. This marks the first time the prestigious event will be hosted in the state of Alabama.
Huntsville, known as “The Rocket City” for its long-standing leadership in the American space industry, is set to welcome table tennis enthusiasts from across the nation. The city’s commitment to sports and recreation, along with its rich history and growing community, make it an ideal host for this major tournament.
The 2024 US Nationals will feature a total of 115 events, including singles, doubles, and ratings-based competitions, catering to players of all skill levels. Reigning champions Amy Wang and Nikhil Kumar will look to defend their titles, while others strive to etch their names in the record books.
In addition to the championship events, the tournament will also host historic table tennis disciplines such as hardbat and sandpaper, as well as an event for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.
