Table Tennis Center Becomes Newest USATT National Training Center

USA Table Tennis (USATT) proudly announces the designation of 888 Table Tennis Center (888 TTC) as an esteemed National Training Center, marking a significant milestone in the growth and development of the sport across the United States. As a National Training Center, 888 Table Tennis Center will become a home for building the future of table tennis in America.

The decision to select 888 TTC stems from its unwavering commitment to developmental excellence, state-of-the-art facilities, and exceptional coaching staff. Located in Burlingame, California, the center boasts:

  • 40 tables in a beautiful 30,000 square foot facility
  • A 12-person coaching and training team

888 TTC’s renowned International Talent Development Program (ITDP) has fostered the growth of USATT’s national team members, including Rachel Sung, who has qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

“We are thrilled about the partnership between USA Table Tennis and the 888 Table Tennis Center,” said USATT CEO Virginia Sung.

Huifen Chan, the founder of 888 Table Tennis, has made the center a household name for table tennis enthusiasts in the U.S. With impressive elite and junior development programs, 888 TTC has attracted players from across the nation and the world. In addition, the facility provides an opportunity to grow table tennis in the community and showcase the sport to a wider audience.

As a National Training Center, 888 TTC will serve as the primary hub for elite athlete development programs, national team training camps, and national team competition, as well as other high-performance initiatives. To inaugurate their designation, 888 TTC will host the 2024 US National Adult and Junior Team Trials from May 24-31st.
