Emerging victorious are the formidable St Katherine’s Trust, who have cemented their dominance by securing 18 wins out of 22 matches. This remarkable achievement can be attributed to the depth of their talent pool, with standout performances from Derek Abrefa and Emmanuel Kwesi Asante leading the charge.
The TT Fight Club also enjoyed a successful campaign, with Jerry Fung and Ho Yin Tam steering the ship. Meanwhile, Highbury 1 assembled an impressive squad featuring the likes of Ching Jay Law, George Downing, Bryan Kwan, and Israel Awolaja, though they ultimately fell short of keeping pace with the league leaders.
Fusion 1, on the other hand, showcased their potential to cause significant upsets, most notably with their 7-3 victory over the eventual champions. This outstanding performance was highlighted by the contributions of Larry Trumpauskas, Tianyi Yu, and Jamal Dennison. However, the club’s reliance on a rotating roster of 18 players hampered their consistency throughout the season.
In the lower echelons of the table, Morpeth’s five teams struggled, with only Morpeth III managing to secure a top-half finish, thanks in large part to the efforts of Abdullah Abaidulla and Munib Ahmad.
Looking ahead to the next season, the promoted teams will face a stiff challenge in Division 1. St Katherine’s Trust II, bolstered by the impressive performances of Daniel Howard (93.55%) and Rayan Ansari (90.24%), will be eager to make their mark. Joining them will be Fusion II, who can count on the consistent contributions of Gary Spencer (95.24%), Jeffrey Tang (90.57%), and Martin Smith (94.12%).
