Sarajevo Set to Host Europe’s Finest for 2024 Olympic Table Tennis Qualifiers
As the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo is gearing up to welcome some of Europe’s top table tennis talents for the highly anticipated Olympic Qualification Tournament. From May 15 to 19, the European Singles Qualifications for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games will take place at the Sport Arena, Hotel Hills Complex, in what is set to be the largest assembly of players for this crucial event.
The tournament will see a total of 47 men and 44 women from 26 nations compete for 10 coveted spots (five men and five women) to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Leading the pack in the men’s singles is Austria’s Daniel Habesohn, a two-time Olympian aiming to make his third consecutive appearance at the Games. In the women’s singles, compatriot Karoline Mischek, a Youth Olympian and Tokyo 2020 debutant, will be focused on securing her spot for the Paris Olympics.
