Dimitar Dimitrov, the talented young table tennis player from England, has recently achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the world’s number one under-11 player. We had the opportunity to sit down with Dimitar at the recent Mark Bates Ltd Cadet, U17 & Junior National Championships, where he shared his thoughts on reaching the top of the rankings and his impressive performance this season.

This 11-year-old prodigy has already won three WTT tournaments in the current season, showcasing his exceptional skills and dedication to the sport.

“It’s an incredible feeling to be recognized as the best under-11 player in the world,” Dimitar expressed with a beaming smile. “I’ve worked hard to get to this point, but I know there’s still a lot more I can achieve.”

Dimitar’s mother was equally proud of her son’s accomplishments.
